How to use Slima for writing & editing

This is a step by step guide to help you get started with Slima.   Your writing process starts by the following:

1.  Plot your story:  Create a story with imagination and brainstorming.  You can use Slima to assist your brainstorming process, such as free writing, story variants creation and scene testing.

2.  Develop characters:   Characters are the building blocks of a story, and managing many of them requires good organization.  You can build character files in Slima, it helps you to analyze each character’s personality traits, role in the story, and how key events connect to them.  You can also use Slima’s beta reader feature to review and refine your characters for greater depth and consistency.

3.  Story world building:  Different types of stories have different world-building emphases.  The biggest challenge of world-building is: information is scattered everywhere and hard to find when you need it. In Slima, you can create a world building folder and use AI to develop world building details by setting extrapolation, consistency check, etc.   Lastly you can use beta readers to test world-building Clarity.

4.  Build Outline:  After you determined the beginning, the end, the plot twists and major scences, you can use Slima to create a clear outline structure.   Besides that, you can also use AI assistant to plan your outline by building the skeleton and expand the scenes.   Moreover, you can make use of the version control function to test different scenes and explore multiple story paths.
