Pick a plan: Free / Starter / Pro / Team

Slima has four plans: Free, Starter, Pro, Team. This article does not list prices or quotas (those change — slima.ai/plans is the source of truth). This article tells you the shape of each tier so you can decide which one to upgrade to.
What each tier is for

| Starter | Serious about writing one book, currently one main project |
| Pro | Multiple projects at once; AI Coach / Beta Readers are part of your routine |
| Team | Collaborating with editors / co-authors / agents (v1 rolling out) |
When you'll naturally want to upgrade
Not "I hit the word limit." The real triggers tend to be:
- More than one book — Free has a small book quota; Starter and up expands it
- AI Coach becomes part of your rhythm — chat / analysis operations draw on a quota
- You want AI Beta Readers — reading reports have their own quota and are the Pro-and-up differentiator
- You want to work with someone — Team only
Upgrade / downgrade / cancel
In Account → Subscription:
- Upgrade — takes effect immediately, prorated
- Downgrade — applies at next billing cycle; you keep Pro's perks until then
- Cancel — you don't immediately become Free; current cycle finishes first

Account → Credits:
- Earned tab — credits you got this cycle (subscription + referral)
- Spent tab — what you spent them on (Coach, analysis, reader runs, …)
