We’re shipping v3.1.4 today. This release is about storage and sync in Script Studio — bringing it in line with Writing Studio, just as steady and just as live — with a Focus mode layout fix on the side.
Script Studio: steadier storage and sync
Realtime sync, on par with Writing Studio
Script Studio now uses the same sync mechanism as Writing Studio — it auto-creates a version and pushes it to the cloud every minute. Your work no longer lingers only on the local device, so switching machines or restarting is safer.
Steadier save reliability
We refined how background sync behaves: when there are new local changes that haven’t been versioned yet, sync now preserves them properly, so a scene you just created saves and uploads reliably. Overall storage reliability is noticeably better.
No dropped characters
Fixed a case where the last few keystrokes in character, location, and worldbuilding docs could be missed if you switched away or closed right after typing. Type and go — nothing gets dropped.
Focus mode layout fix
Focus mode no longer leans to one side — content is centered, the width matches the regular editor, and there’s proper left/right padding. Long, immersive writing sessions look calmer and more balanced.
Up next
We’ll keep leveling storage, sync, and editing across every studio to the same bar — so wherever you write, your work stays safe.
