Slima MCP

What Slima MCP is

3 min read

MCP is an industry standard — lets AI tools read & write external systems (files, APIs, databases). Slima MCP plugs Slima into this ecosystem.

Slima Authorized Apps page bottom 'What is MCP?' info box: MCP (Model Context Protocol) lets AI assistants securely access your Slima data

Why this exists

You already work in Claude / ChatGPT / Cursor — but the AI can't see your Slima books, so you keep pasting context.

Slima MCP solves:

  • Claude reads your book directly — no pasting
  • Cursor edits chapters — diff and accept
  • ChatGPT generates a character bible — writes into Slima

What MCP isn't

  • Not another AI (no model of its own)
  • Not a replacement for AI Coach (Coach is inside Slima; MCP is for external tools)
  • Not a chatbot (it's a protocol, not a product)

Coach vs MCP
