Where to see your balance

Credit balance is visible in four places — pick by what you're doing.
1 · Activity Bar tooltip
Most convenient — hover the "📊 Writing stats" icon in the left activity bar:
Total: 1,200 credits
Used this month: 380
A 5-second glance.
2 · Account → Credits
The full balance page:
- Earned tab: this month's grant / referrals / Pack purchases
- Spent tab: every AI op with timestamp + cost
- Trend chart (last 30 days)
Click any spend row for details (which op, which book, how much).
3 · Reading report card
Top-right of any reading report:
This report used X credits
You have Y left
You know what this op cost — useful for ROI calls.
4 · Pre-AI-op estimate dialog
Every AI op that costs credits → estimate dialog:
Estimated: 120 credits
Balance: 1,200 credits
[Confirm] [Cancel]
Expandable — Coach chat X, web search Y, model tier Z.
5 · Editor status bar
Subtle but always there — a small number in the status bar.

Account → Subscription → your tier description shows the next reset amount.
