AI quota exhausted

Triggering an AI action and got an "Insufficient quota" dialog — three ways out, pick one.

Three paths

1 · Upgrade subscription

Click "Upgrade" on the dialog → jumps to /plans → pick a plan.

Upgrades take immediate effect and the new plan's credits land at the same time.

2 · Buy a Report Pack

Don't want to commit to a higher tier — just want to finish this one task?

3 · Wait for the next refresh

Credits refresh on the 1st of each month (or whenever your plan's cycle resets):

Click "Cancel" on the dialog
Try the action again after the refresh

Common reasons for burning through credits:

AI Beta Reader / Editor runs are pricey (each report consumes a chunk)
Web search adds some overhead (fetching pages costs credits)
Deeper-thinking models cost more than faster tiers

A better habit: check the estimate first

Each message in the chat panel shows an estimate before sending: "Est. X credits, you have Y left" — if it doesn't fit, stop and adjust the message or pick a different model.
