Episodes list: row + inline detail
Each Season contains an Episode list. Script Studio's Episode UI is a row + inline detail pattern — expand a row in place to see that episode's metadata.

What an Episode row shows
Each Episode is a row in the list, typically with:
- Episode number + title (e.g. "E1: The Departure")
- Scene count + word count
- Main character chips (top N appearing)
- ⋯ menu (edit / delete / move to other season)
Click the row → inline expand shows that episode's detailed metadata (no page transition needed).
Inline detail editable fields
Typically:
- Episode title (e.g. "E1: The Departure")
- Episode Logline (one-two sentences)
- Episode Notes (working notes)
- Scene list (link to Scene Board)
Collapse the row → back to list view.
Create a new Episode
Bottom of the Season's Episode list: "+ New Episode" — or switch to the Season in Scenes view and add from there.
Switching Episodes
Three ways:
- Click any row in the Episode list
- Hierarchy Episode ▼ dropdown
- Scenes view Episode toggle for single-episode scene board
Reordering Episodes
Drag-to-reorder is usually supported (exact UI varies — try the grip handle or long-press drag).
Important: reordering Episodes doesn't affect scene content; it only changes the order number.
Moving Episodes across Seasons
Some versions: Episode ⋯ menu → "Move to other season" — moves the whole Episode (with all scenes) to a different Season.
