First launch: Welcome, consent, Studio Picker, motivation onboarding

약 4분 소요 25 次瀏覽

After sign-up or first sign-in, Slima doesn't drop you straight into the editor — there's a short Welcome flow. This article covers what each step is doing.

Bookshelf My Works page (the state you reach after Welcome) — motivation widget, book cards, top Continue Writing all ready

What you see

1 · Slima logo animation

A brief Slima logo opening animation.

Why: it gives the browser a moment to finish loading the app in the background, so the main UI opens cleanly without a half-loaded state.

Wait it out or tap to skip.

2 · Welcome screen

Plain text, one or two lines — something like "An AI writing IDE that remembers your whole book."

Design intent: no forms, no feature reel — five seconds to understand Slima, then move on.

See: The 3 Studios + Slima MCP

3 · Terms consent (TermsConsentModal)

Two required + one optional:

  • Terms of Service — required
  • Privacy Policy — required
  • Product update emails (optional) — defaults to unchecked

Click "I agree" to proceed.

Your content is always yours. Slima doesn't train AI on your books or share them with third parties for marketing. See Privacy Policy and AI training policy.

4 · Studio Picker

After consent, you land on the Studio Picker — pick which Studio to enter. Default is Writing Studio.

5 · Motivation onboarding (4-step habit wizard)

Once you're inside a Studio (especially Writing Studio), the motivation widget invites you to run the "Set up my writing habit" flow — this is a 4-step habit wizard (not a 5-step goal setup). See:

Skipping Welcome

  • Logo animation: tap to skip
  • Terms: can't skip (legal requirement)
  • Studio Picker: pick anything; you can switch later
  • Motivation onboarding: "Skip" works; the bookshelf widget always has "Set Up My Writing Habit" ready
